The Importance of Continuous Exercise

As we age the composition of our bones changes which can lead to Osteoporosis (deterioration in bone mass and density making the bone more fragile).

Exercise can prevent weak bones, help maintain bone density, build muscle tone, and improve fractions. Exercise plans that include muscle strengthening, balance training, and walking plans also reduces the risk of falls and can help increase bone density. The weekly target for exercising is 2 to 3 days a week with a goal to increase to 5 - 6 days a week.

Beverley's Video 12 Pack is an important source of at home exercises that help with adding strength and balance training. Each video is about an hour long and includes instruction from Kerri and Bev!
